Internal Telephone Numbers

Creating ISDN Subscribers

Note: The name is used for display purposes on the system telephone.
Furthermore, on some pages in the configuration manager (e.g., call data
list), the name is displayed in addition to the telephone number.
4. Select one of the following options from the Device type list field depending on the
device connected.
analogue, unspecified: Analogue telephone, analogue modem
analogue, DTMF telephone: Analogue telephone with dual-tone multi-
frequency
analogue, pulse dial telephone: Analogue telephone with pulse dialling
Answering machine: Analogue answering machine
Fax machine: Analogue fax machine
Note: The PBX automatically detects the dialling type of the analogue
extension.
5. Select the analogue port to which the end device is connected from the Port list field.

Note: The subscriber properties, wake-up times and a time account (or call
allowance account on a COMpact 3000 ISDN or on the COMpact ISDN
module available as an option) are configured on the page PROPERTIES >
Internal subscribers. Click
7. Repeat step 2 to 6 to enter additional telephone numbers.
Further steps:
– If required, change the automatically generated PINs and passwords (see chapter Settings
> Protection from Unauthorised Access > Configuring User PINs and Passwords).
– Save your settings before you leave the page.
