Protection from Unauthorised Access

In order to prevent important settings from being changed accidentally or by unauthorised
people, the PBX can be protected from unauthorised access.
The following authorisation levels are available:
• Administrator (access with admin password)
• Sub-administrator (access with one of four sub-admin passwords)
• User (access via user password assigned to subscriber)

Access Authorization

Access authorisation to the configuration manager is limited depending on authorisation level.
Administrator
The administrator has unrestricted access to the configuration manager. The PBX can be
configured completely and the PINS and passwords of the other users (internal subscribers)
can be changed with this access.
Sub-administrator
Just as the administrator does, the sub-administrator has complete access to the configuration
manager. The following settings are the only ones he cannot configure:
• Viewing and configuring the admin PIN and admin password
• Entering the dealer data
• Configuring the remote configuration
• Viewing and using the configuration wizard
Users (internal subscribers)
The user has the following access authorisation:
• Configuring and use of windows on the portal page
• Configuring to separate subscriber properties (User settings and Signalization by tones)
• Configuring to separate wake-up times
• Viewing separate time and call allowance account settings
• Viewing the separate call data list
• Viewing the telephone book and use of the soft call function
• Viewing and editing of separate voice mailbox and fax box messages
