Recording, Saving, Listening to and Deleting an Announcement for Voice Mailboxes
Recording an Announcement for Voice Mailboxes via an Internal Telephone
Up to ten announcements for voice mailboxes can be recorded directly using the receiver of an
internal telephone. When recording a new announcement, the currently existing
announcement is overwritten directly.
Requirements:
– An SD card inserted in the SD card slot or a USB memory stick inserted in the USB port
– Authorization Controlling of the PBX via telephone assigned to the subscriber
– Configured sub-admin or admin PIN
1. Pick up the receiver.
2. Dial ##8.
3. Enter the sub-admin or admin PIN.
4. Dial one of the following character strings:
*5661*: Selects announcement number one.
*5662*: Selects announcement number two.
*5663*: Selects announcement number three.
*5664*: Selects announcement number four.
*5665*: Selects announcement number five.
*5666*: Selects announcement number six.
*5667*: Selects announcement number seven.
*5668*: Selects announcement number eight.
*5669*: Selects announcement number nine.
*5660*: Selects announcement number ten.
You will hear the confirmation tone.
5. To start recording the announcement, dial *.
6. Say the text you have prepared.
7. To stop recording, dial #.
You will hear a hold tone. Then the announcement just recorded is played back.
Note: To stop recording, you can also hang up the receiver.
