Configuration Manager

The configuration manager lets you easily configure the PBX on your computer. It is reachable
over the integrated Web server on the PBX. The required PC is connected either directly to a
Ethernet port on the PBX or it must be on the same network.

Opening the Configuration Manager

Opening can be carried out at the following authorisation levels:
• As an administrator
• As a sub-administrator
• As a user
Opening the Configuration Manager as a User
Requirements:
– A PC meeting the minimum requirements (see chapter Important Information > Minimum
Requirements PC)
– An existing Ethernet connection between the PC and the PBX or both the PC and the PBX
on the same network
– Knowledge of the IP address on the PBX
– Configured user password
Note: If the UPnP service is installed and enabled on the PC being used, the
PBX is identified and selected as the "Auerswald PBX" device in the network
environment. The configuration manager is then opened in the browser.
Steps 1 and 2 are omitted. Proceed with Step 3.
1. Start a browser (for example, Mozilla Firefox or Google Chrome).
2. Enter the IP address of the PBX in the address field of the browser (for example,
http://192.168.178.4).
3. Enter the internal telephone number of the user and the associated user password.
4. Click Log-in.
