LCR Sequence

LCR
LCR (Least Cost Routing) is a function of the PBX that enables the subscriber to automatically
make calls using the most cost-effective telephone service provider. To set this up, the function
must be configured and the current tariff structure of the telephone service providers to be used
saved in the tariff tables on the PBX.
LCR Sequence
The automatic LCR runs as follows:
• A user on the LCR subscriber or a Call Through user (when LCR is enabled for Call Through
calls) dials an external phone number.
• The PBX controls whether the area code is entered in the tariff groups.
• If the provider area code is found, the PBX initiates the dial attempt automatically via the
selected providers.
Note:
Automatic LCR is not carried out for the entered emergency numbers
(CONFIGURATION > Emergency and baby/senior call > Emergency
numbers).
If a call is initiated via a targeted exchange line access, automatic LCR is not
carried out.
