Entering Telephone Numbers for the ISDN Point-to-Point Connection

5. In the entry field Name, enter a name for the telephone number. The following entries
are possible:
Up to 16 digits
Digits and characters
Note: The name is used for display purposes on the system telephone.

Entering Telephone Numbers for the ISDN Point-to-Point Connection
The PBX base number with the following extension or global call number indicates which digit
sequence a caller needs to dial from the local telephone network to establish the ISDN point-
to-point connection.
The point-to-point connection has a PBX base number and up to ten extension numbers
(including the global call number). The telephone numbers were allocated by the network
provider for the connection.
Note: In general, 10 extension numbers (DDIs) can be configured for a point-
to-point connection. The maximum number of telephone numbers (DDIs/
MSNs) to be configured for the whole PBX is limited to 32. If more than three
connections (ISDN, analogue and VoIP accounts) are configured, it is not
possibe to configure 10 telephone numbers (DDIs/MSNs) for each
connection.
The entry can be made as follows:
• Via the configuration manager

port (only COMpact 3000 ISDN or COMpact ISDN module available as an option)
