Switching Echo Cancellation for VoIP Subscribers On/Off
3. Select or clear the Echo cancellation check box.
Enables echo cancellation.
Disables echo cancellation.
Note:
If echo cancellation is switched off you may hear a local echo on your own
telephone (you hear yourself speaking). You can compensate for this effect
by slightly reducing the volume on your telephone.
You can configure the echo cancellation for VoIP providers on the page
CONFIGURATION > Voice over IP (VoIP) > VoIP provider > Provider
configuration > Network.
