Configuring Control Commands

The control commands indicate which digit sequences the analogue network provider needs to
carry out a service attribute on the analogue connection. If a service attribute is requested on
an ISDN subscriber of the PBX (e.g., a system telephone), the PBX automatically converts it
into the digit sequences required by the analogue network provider.
The configuration can be made as follows:
• Via the configuration manager
Requirements:
– External analogue port (only COMpact 3000 analogue)
– Configuration manager, opened with sufficient authorisation
– Expert view (click
– Configured prefixes (country prefix and local area code)
1. Open the page CONFIGURATION > External numbers.
2. In the list field at the top, select the analogue connection.
A page opens for configuring the analogue connection.
3. Open the page Analogue connection > Expert configuration.
4. In the entry fields under Control commands, use the keypad to enter the digit
sequence required by the network provider. The following entries are possible:
Digits and the characters * and #
The 'n' character as a placeholder for the telephone number
The comma ',' character as a pause of one second
The 'R' character as a placeholder for a flash
