Creating Emergency Numbers
Some countries (e.g. Denmark, Greece, Luxembourg) do not have a fixed
number sequence for their area codes. If this also applies to the location at
which the PBX is installed, you do not need to enter an area code.
The creation can be carried out as follows:
• Via the configuration manager
Requirements:
– Configuration manager, opened with sufficient authorisation
1. Open the page CONFIGURATION > Emergency and baby/senior call >
Emergency numbers.
2. If necessary, change one of the emergency numbers displayed or enter a new
emergency number in the first available Emergency numbers entry field. The
following entries are possible:
Up to 20 digits
Digits
Note:
Also telephone numbers from the local telephone network have to be entered
with a prefix. Exception: Emergency numbers regulated by law, e.g. 110 and
112.
Note that entering emergency numbers without a prefix restricts the internal
telephone number plan. For example, the use of the emergency numbers 110
and 112 means that the internal telephone numbers 110 and 112 as well as
1100-1109 and 1120-1129 are no longer available.
3. Enter a name for identification purposes in the Name entry field. The following entries
are possible:
Up to 16 digits
Digits and characters
Note: The name is used for display purposes on the system telephone.
Furthermore, on some pages in the configuration manager (e.g., call data
list), the name is displayed in addition to the telephone number.
4. Click
.
