Switching Busy Tone Detection for Call Start On/Off

Requirements:
– External analogue port (only COMpact 3000 analogue)
– Configuration manager, opened with sufficient authorisation
– Expert view (click
– Configured prefixes (country prefix and local area code)
1. Open the page CONFIGURATION > External numbers.
2. In the list field at the top, select the analogue connection.
A page opens for configuring the analogue connection.
3. Open the page Analogue connection > Expert configuration.
4. Select or clear the Transmit # check box under Start of call (outgoing calls).
Enables pound sign transmission.
Disables pound sign transmission.
Further steps:
– Save your settings before you leave the page.
Switching Busy Tone Detection for Call Start On/Off
If busy tone detection is enabled (recommended), one of the busy tones transmitted from the
central office is detected by the PBX.
This is necessary to enable to activate the CCBS function (callback on busy) with the internal
telephones on the PBX.
Switching this on/off can be done as follows:
• Via the configuration manager
