Expanding the PBX
Purchasing and Releasing Software Expansions in the Upgrade Center
Software Expansions via the Configuration Manager
Requirements:
– Configuration manager, opened with sufficient authorisation
– A user account in the Upgrade Center
– PC with an existing Internet connection
1. Open the page SERVICE > Release > Release code.
2. Click Open Upgrade Center.
The Upgrade Center opens in a separate window. The serial number of the PBX is
automatically entered and set in the Other: Device-S/N.: entry field. An overview of
the products available for your PBX are displayed.
3. Click Log in.
4. Enter the data for your user account in the User name and Password entry fields.
5. Click Log in.
6. Click the category in which you would like to go shopping, or click Display under All
items for this device:.
The items available are displayed.
Note: Click the image in the Details column to view the current expansion
level on the PBX (regarding these items).
7. Place the desired item in the shopping basket by clicking the Buy column.
8. Once you have selected all of the items you would like, click Shopping basket /
check out.
The selected items are displayed in the shopping basket.
9. Select the payment type.
10. When you are finished making changes, click:
• Proceed to the TOB: Before the initial order and after every change in the
General Terms and Conditions (TOB), the terms and conditions of business of
Auerswald GmbH & Co. KG must be accepted.
• Proceed to the customer data
11. Follow the additional instructions.
