Recording, Saving and Listening to Wake-up Announcements
4. Select the file you want and click Open (this text is dependent on the operating
system used).
The path and the file name are displayed in the field next to Browse.
5. Click Save.
6. Click OK.
Recording a Wake-up Announcement via an Internal Telephone
Up to three wake-up announcements can be recorded directly over the receiver of an internal
telephone. When recording a new wake-up announcement, the currently existing
announcement is overwritten directly.
Requirements:
– Authorization Controlling of the PBX via telephone assigned to the subscriber
– A configured sub-admin PIN
1. Pick up the receiver.
2. Dial ##8.
3. Enter the sub-admin PIN.
4. Dial one of the following character strings:
*5621*: Selects announcement number one.
*5622*: Selects announcement number two.
*5623*: Selects announcement number three.
You will hear the confirmation tone.
5. To start recording the announcement, dial *.
6. Say the text you have prepared.
Note: The announcement text to be recorded can be up to 20 seconds long.
After this time, recording is automatically stopped, and you will hear the
confirmation tone.
7. To stop recording, dial #.
You will hear a hold tone. Then the announcement just recorded is played back.
