It is a good idea to not connect more than two devices on the S
to allow separate calling on either of the two B-channels.
The internal telephone number entered here needs to be entered in the ISDN
unit or in the system telephone as the (first) MSN. Also on an ISDN unit, make
sure that the telephone number is transmitted to the PBX.
If a COMfortel DECT 900 Base is on the internal S
devices can be run on this port due to output limitations.
A maximum of five telephone numbers can be allocated on a COMfortel
DECT 900 Base for the mobile handsets (three are recommended).
The creation can be carried out as follows:
• Via the configuration manager
Requirements:
– Internal S port (only provided on the COMpact S

– Configuration manager, opened with sufficient authorisation
1. Open the page CONFIGURATION > Internal numbers > ISDN subscribers.
Note: The creation is also provided during the quick configuration using the
configuration wizard.
2. If necessary, change one of the internal telephone numbers displayed or enter a new
internal number in the From entry field under Telephone numbers. The following
entries are possible:

Double allocation of a number is not possible.
The telephone numbers 70, 80, 87, 701-706, 801-806, 875-879 and 8750-
8799 cannot be freely allocated. They are required for internal PBX use.
Using telephone numbers with few digits (two or three-digit numbers) inevi-
tably restricts the possible supply of telephone numbers with more digits. For
example, if the telephone number 12 is assigned, the telephone numbers
120-129 and 1200-1299 are no longer available.
