Telephone Book and Lists
Telephone Book
Creating Entries
The creation can be carried out as follows:
• Via the configuration manager
Note: When creating an entry, take note of the later purpose of the entry. If
the name of the telephone numbers entered should be displayed for calls, an
entry from the external telephone numbers and a corresponding name must
exist. The same applies if the entry in the telephone book on a system
telephone should be used. However, if you would like to dial the telephone
number on a standard telephone using a short-code, the entry must also
contain a short-code dialling number.
Requirements:
– Configuration manager, opened with sufficient authorisation
1. Open the page USER DATA > Telephone book.
2. If required, enter an internal telephone number as a short-code dialling number in the
From entry field under Short-code dialling number. The following entries are
possible:
2 to 4 digits in the range of
Note:
Double allocation of a number is not possible.
The telephone numbers 70, 80, 87, 701-706, 801-806, 875-879 and 8750-
8799 cannot be freely allocated. They are required for internal PBX use.
Using telephone numbers with few digits (two or three-digit numbers) inevi-
tably restricts the possible supply of telephone numbers requiring more digits.
For example, if the telephone number 12 is assigned, the telephone numbers
120-129 and 1200-1299 are no longer available.
The default exchange line access number on the PBX is "0" in the factory
settings; however, this can be changed. Note that changing the exchange line
access number restricts the telephone number plan.
3. Enter an external telephone number in the External phone number entry field. The
following entries are possible:
Up to 20 digits
Digits and the characters * and #
