Recording the D-Channel Log

To make control and administrative information about the connections on the PBX, e.g., visible,
a D-channel log is started. The type of error and perhaps the cause can be determined by
looking at the list of transmitted information.
The recording can be made as follows:
• Using the PC application called D-Channel Decoder
Requirements:
– The PC application D-Channel Decoder installed from the Auerswald Mega Disk
– D-channel output via IP function switched on in the PBX
1. Start the PC application D-Channel Decoder.
2. Click Start.
An interface selection dialogue opens.
3. In the Interface list field, select the IP option.
4. In the IP address entry field, enter the IP address of the PBX.
Note: Any possibly existing port must be omitted when the IP address is
entered.
5. Click OK.
The report log is displayed.
