Possible Connection Options for Configuring the PBX and the Connected ISDN
System Telephones
The following connection options are possible for configuring or remotely configuring the PBX
and the connected ISDN system telephones:
Configuration of the PBX via the Internal Network
The PBX is normally configured via an internal network connection. The PC used for this must
be located on the same network as the PBX.
Configuring the PBX Remotely via the Internet with ARA Server
Remote configuration of the PBX can be accessed via the
http://remote-
access.auerswald.de/remote-access
on the Internet. This requires a dealer access via the
Internet and enabling of the Auerswald Remote Access (ARA) in the PBX.
Configuring the PBX Remotely via the Internet without ARA Server
You can also configure the PBX remotely via an internet connection (DSL). This requires a fixed
external IP address. Alternatively, you can use VPN or DynDNS. The router on the PBX's
network must be configured accordingly.
