Switching Message Recording On/Off

If message recording is enabled, a caller can record a message in the voice mailbox after
listening to the announcement.
Switching this on/off can be done as follows:
• Via the configuration manager
Requirements:
– An SD card inserted in the SD card slot or a USB memory stick inserted in the USB port
– Configuration manager, opened with sufficient authorisation
1. Open the page CONFIGURATION > Call distribution > Create call distribution.
Across the table, all of the separate external telephone numbers entered and the
corresponding group phone numbers (call distribution groups) are displayed.
Note: Click
telephone numbers. Click
2. Select or clear the Recording check box in the column of the corresponding
telephone number.
Enables message recording.
Disables message recording.

– Save your settings before you leave the page.

Configuring the Maximum Recording Time per Call

The maximum recording time per call indicates the number of minutes after which the voice
mailbox ends a recording automatically (in as far as the caller has not already hung up).
The configuration can be made as follows:
• Separately for voice mailboxes
• Via the configuration manager
