Installing the Auerswald Fax Printer Driver on the PC
Install the Auerswald Fax printer driver on your PC. You will find the driver in the Internet (see
www.auerswald.de/service).
Requirements:
– PC with operating system Windows 7/8/8.1/10 or Windows 2008 Server R2 64 Bit (incl.
Windows Terminal Server)
1. Download the Auerswald Fax printer driver and start the driver installation by double-
clicking the application file *.exe.
2. Select the desired language and click OK.
3. Click Next.
4. Read the license agreement. Afterwards, click I accept the terms of the license
agreement. Click Next.
The installation of the Auerswald Fax printer driver is started.
5. Click Continue anyway (this text is depending on the browser used).
6. Click Finish.
Further steps:
– Purchase and activate the Fax transfer function in the Upgrade Center.
Configuring the Printer Driver Auerswald Fax
Before transferring the first fax using the Auerswald Fax printer driver, at least one fax box of
the PBX has to be configured in the printer driver.
Requirements:
– Installed printer driver Auerswald Fax
1. To open the printer driver, print a test document, e. g. a Word document, using the
print function of the PC program. Via the printer selection, select the printer driver
Auerswald Fax.
2. If necessary, enter a name for your identification in the entry field Name of the fax
box.
