Configuring Delay Time after Last Digit Dialled

If no loop current is detected, the line is considered as not being active or not
present.
Switching this on/off can be done as follows:
• Via the configuration manager
Requirements:
– External analogue port (only COMpact 3000 analogue)
– Network provider support for loop current detection for determining the line connection
– Configuration manager, opened with sufficient authorisation
– Expert view (click
– Configured prefixes (country prefix and local area code)
1. Open the page CONFIGURATION > External numbers.
2. In the list field at the top, select the analogue connection.
A page opens for configuring the analogue connection.
3. Open the page Analogue connection > Expert configuration.
4. Select or clear the Loop current detection check box under Line connection.
Enables loop current detection.
Disables loop current detection.

Configuring Delay Time after Last Digit Dialled
The delay time after last digit dialled is the amount of time until the PBX detects the end of
dialling. The time measurement restarts after each digit entered. After the configured time has
passed, the PBX detects the digit just dialled as the last digit and allows no further entry.
Note: In order to shorten the delay time between the last digit and estab-
lishing the connection, you can complete dialling the telephone number by
pressing # key (pound sign). The PBX recognizes this character as the end
of dialling.
