Time and Call Allowance Account

Each telephone can be credited a certain amount of time using a time account. When the time
credit is used up, it becomes no longer possible to make external calls on the corresponding
telephone until the credit is reset.
A call allowance account is a restricted amount of currency units that is configured for each
telephone. When these units are used up, it becomes no longer possible to make external calls
on the corresponding telephone until the credit is reset.

Configuring an Account Type

The configuration can be made as follows:
• Separately for subscribers
• Via the configuration manager
Requirements:
– External S
port (only COMpact 3000 ISDN or COMpact ISDN module available as an option)

– Configuration manager, opened with sufficient authorisation
1. Open the page FUNCTIONS > Time and call allowance accounts > Accounts.
2. Click
in the line of the corresponding subscriber.
3. In the Account type list field, select one of the following options:
Time account: Configures a time account for the subscriber.
Call allowance account: Configures a call allowance account for the
subscriber.
Important: If using a VoIP account for external calls, the call allowance
account doesn't work.

– Save your settings before you leave the page.
– Configure credit for the time or call allowance account.
