Entering Telephone Numbers for the ISDN Point-to-Multipoint Connection

The multiple subscriber number indicates which digit sequence a caller must dial from the local
telephone network in order to establish the ISDN point-to-multipoint connection.
The point-to-multipoint connection has up to ten multiple subscriber numbers. The telephone
numbers were allocated by the network provider for the connection.
Note: In general, 10 multiple subscriber numbers (MSNs) can be configured
for a point-to-multipoint connection. The maximum number of telephone
numbers (DDIs/MSNs) to be configured for the whole PBX is limited to 32. If
more than three connections (ISDN, analogue and VoIP accounts) are
configured, it is not possibe to configure 10 telephone numbers (DDIs/MSNs)
for each connection.
The entry can be made as follows:
• Via the configuration manager
Requirements:
– External S
port (only COMpact 3000 ISDN or COMpact ISDN module available as an option)

in the connection type point-to-multipoint connection
– Configuration manager, opened with sufficient authorisation
– Configured prefixes (country prefix and local area code)
1. Open the page CONFIGURATION > External numbers.
2. In the list field at the top, select the ISDN connection in question.
A page opens for configuring the ISDN connection.
3. Open the page ISDN connection > Telephone numbers.
Note: The entry is also provided during the quick configuration using the
configuration wizard.
4. In the From entry field under Multiple subscriber number (MSN), enter the digit
sequence you received from your computer network provider. The following entries
are possible:
