Troubleshooting
EI ectric fan
NOTE: _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _
If the electric fan will not turn at coolant
temperatures of more than 105 ± 3°C (221 ±
37.4°F):
1. Check the wire connections. Repair if
necessary.
2. Disconnect the electric fan connector,
and connect the battery ( 12V) to the
electric fan connector as shown.
3. If the electric fan operates, the electric
fan is in good condition and if not,
replace the electric fan motor assembly.

Si le ventilateur electrique ne se met pas en
marche lorsque la temperature du liquide de
refroidissement est plus de I 05
±
3°C (221
±
37,4°F):
I. Controler Jes connexions. Reparer si
necessaire.
2. Debrancher le connecteur de ventilateur
electrique. Brancher une batterie 12V
a
ce connecteur comme illustre.
3. Si le ventilateur electrique tourne, ii est
en bon etat. S'il ne tourne pas, changer
]'ensemble moteur de ventilateur elec-
trique.

Si el venti lador electrico no fu nciona con u na
temperatura de refrigerante de mas de 105 ±
3°C (221 ± 37,4°F):
1. Verificar las conexi6nes de los cables.
Reparar si fuera necesario.
2. Desconectar los hilos del ventilador
electrico, y conectar la bater fa ( 12V)
a estos hilos como se indica en la ilustra-
cion.
3. Si el ventilador funciona, entonces esta
en buenas condiciones, pero si no es
asf, debe cambiar el conjunto del motor
del ventilador.
