2. Immerse the thermostatic switch in the
engine oil as shown. While heating the
engine oil, check the continuity at each
temperature. If the thermostatic switch
will not operate as shown in the table
below, the thermostatic switch is faulty.
It should be replaced.
2. Comme illustre, immerger le thermo-
contact dans du huile du moteur. Tout
en chauffant du huile du moteur, con-
troler la continuite pour chaque tem-
perature indiquee. Si le thermocontact
ne fonctionne pas comme indique dans
le tableau ci-dessous, il est endommage
et doit etre change.

2. Sumergir el conmutador termostatico en
agua tal como se muestra. Mientras se

torque the switch to specification.
Tightening torque:
15Nm ( 1.5m ·kg, 11ft-lb)
