5. Put the taper spindle on the damper rod.
6. Hold the inner fork tube, and carefully
install the outer fork tube over the taper
spindle.
7. Apply Loctite® (red) to the cylinder
securing bolt, and install the bolt and a
copper washer into the outer fork tube.
Torque the bolt to specification.
Tightening torque:
26 Nm (2.6 m·kg, 19 ft·lb)
8. Pour the specified amount of fork oil
into the inner fork tube.
Fork oil capacity:
249 cm

(8.8 Imp oz, 8.4 US oz)
Recommended oil:
SAE 1 OW30 type SE motor oil
9. I nstal I the fork spring and cap bolt with
a new 0-ring into the inner fork tube.
Finger tighten the cap bolt.
NOTE: - - - - - - - - - - - - -
The fork spring must be installed with the
smaller pitch side facing upward as shown.
5. Mettre la fusee conique sur la tige
d 'amortisseur.
6. Tenir le tube interne et monter soigneus-
ment le tube externe sur la fusee conique.
7. Appliquer du Loctite® (rouge) sur la vis
de fixation de cylindre puis monter la vis
avec une rondelle en cuivre dans le tube
externe. Serrer la vis au couple specific.
Couple de serrage:
26 Nm (2,6 m-kg, 19 ft-lb)
8. Verser la quantite specifiee d'huile de
fourche dans le tube de fourche.
Quantile d'huile de fourche:
249 cm

(8,8 Imp oz 8,4 US oz)
Huile recommandee:
Huile moteur SAE 1 OW30 type SE
9. Monter le ressort de fourche et le boulon-
capuchon avec un joint torique neuf
dans le tube interne. Serrer le boulon-
capuchon
a
la main.

Comme illustre, le ressort de fourche doit etre
monte avec le plus petit pas en haut.

5. Ponga el eje ahusado en la varilla de
amortiguaci6n.
6. Sujete el tubo interno de la horquilla
e instale cuidadosamente el tubo externo
en el eje ahusado.
7. Aplicar Loctite® (rojo) en la rosca de!
perno de sujeci6n de\ cilindro e instalarlo
con una arandela de cobre en e/ tuba
externo de la horquilla. Apretar el perno
de acuerdo con la especificaci6n.
Torsion de ajuste:
2 6 Nm (2,6 m-kg, 19 ft-lb)
8. Vierta
la
cantidad
especificada
de
aceite en el tubo interno de la horquilla.
Capacidad de aceite de la horquilla:
249 cm
3
(8,8 Imp oz, 8,4 US oz)
Aceite recomendado:
Aceite de motor SAE 10W30 typo SE
9. lnstale el resorte de la horquilla y el
perno tapa con un nuevo anillo en el
tubo interno de la horquilla.
Apriete
manualmente el perno tapa.

El resorte de la horquilla debe instalarse con
el lado del paso menor hacia arriba como se
ilustra.
