B: Bolt (47 mm/1.85 in – 1 pc)
C: Reamer bolt (25 mm/1 in – 2 pcs)
D: Reamer bolt (32 mm!1 .26 in – 1 pc)

51) Install valve body assembly to case.
Align manual valve with pin on manual shift lever and lower
valve body into place.
Install 11 bolts in lower valve body.
Each bolt length is given in figure.
First, tighten 3 reamer bolts (positioning bolts) C and D lightly.
Then tighten all bolts in diagonal order.
CAUTION:
Care should be taken to put manual shift lever pin in
between two flanges at end of manual shift valve.
Tightening Torque for lower valve body bolts
10 N·m (1.0 kg-m, 7.5 Ib-ft)
52) Connect oil pressure control cable on throttle valve cam.
While holding cam down with fingers, slip cable end into slot.
53) Install oil tubes to lower valve body.
First put the end of oil tube without flange about 2 mm (0.08 in.)
into lower valve body, then insert the one with flange and push
both ends of tube by hand. Next, tap them in lightly with a plas-
tic hammer as far as flange position.
NOTE:
D Install them horizontally to valve body.
D Make sure to insert them up to flange position securely.
D Care should be taken not to deform tubes.
