DTC P0743/DTC NO.25 OR 26 TCC SYSTEM ELECTRICAL

WIRING DIAGRAM
TROUBLESHOOTING
STEP
1 Was "A / T DIAGNOSTIC FLOW TABLE" performed?
2 Check TCC Solenoid Circuit for Short.
1) Turn ignition switch OFF and disconnect TCM
connectors.
2) Check for proper connection to TCM at terminal
E26-12.
3) If OK, then turn ignition switch ON and measure
voltage between terminal E26-12 of disconnected
TCM connector and ground.
Is it about 0 V?
3 Check TCC Solenoid Circuit for Open or Short.
1) Turn ignition switch OFF.
2) Measure resistance between terminal E26-12 of
disconnected TCM connector and ground.
Is it 11 – 15 W at 20_C, 68_F?
4 Check TCC Solenoid for Resistance.
1) Disconnect solenoids connector at transmission.
2) Check for proper connection to solenoid at "Bl / W"
wire terminal.
3) If OK, then measure resistance between solenoid
terminal T1-3 and transmission. See Fig. 1.
Is it 11 – 15 W at 20_C, 68_F?

YES
Go to Step 2.
Go to Step 3.
Intermittent trouble or
faulty TCM.
Check for intermittent
referring to "INTERMIT-
TENT AND POOR
CONNECTION" in
Section 0A.
"Bl/ W" circuit open or
shorted to ground.
NO
Go to "A / T DIAG-
NOSTIC FLOW
TABLE".
"Bl/ W" circuit
shorted to power
circuit.
Go to Step 4.
Check solenoid
wire harness for
open or short.
If wire and
connections are
OK, replace TCC
solenoid.
