REMOVE AND INSTALL KNUCKLE, WHEEL
BEARING/OIL SEAL
REMOVAL
Once bearing outer race is removed, bearing set (outer race, bear-
ings and inner races) should be replaced with new one.
1) Remove wheel hub referring to WHEEL HUB REMOVAL of this
section.
2) Remove knuckle from vehicle referring to KNUCKLE RE-
MOVAL of SECTION 3E.
3) Remove outside oil seal and snap ring from knuckle.
4) Remove inside oil seal from knuckle.
5) Remove bearing outer race/inner bearing using special tool and
hydraulic press.

INSTALLATION
When replacing bearing, inner race or outer race, be sure to re-
place them with new ones as a set.
1) Press-fit new bearing outer race/inner bearing using special
tools.

(C): 09951-18210
2) Apply grease (lithic grease) to bearing outer race and bearings.
3) Press-fit new inside oil seal until special tool contacts with
knuckle.
Special Tool
(D): 09944-78210
Be sure to apply grease to oil seal lip.
