9-28 BODY SERVICE
5) Using new brush, apply sufficient amount of primer for body
along body surface where window is to be adhered.
NOTE:
Be sure to refer to maker's instruction for proper handling
and drying time.
6) Clean glass surface to be adhered to window with clean cloth.
If cleaning solvent is used, let it dry for more than 10 minutes.

2. Primer for body
3. Body
7) Clean molding surface "A" with clean cloth. (Refer to figure.)
8) Using new brush, apply sufficient amount of primer for glass
along glass surface to be adhered to window.
NOTE:
Be sure to refer to maker's instruction for proper han-
dling and drying time.
Do not touch primer coated surface.
Clearance "b": Approximately 13 mm (0.50 in.)

2. Primer for glass
3. Molding
9) Using new brush, apply sufficient amount of primer for molding
4. Glass
5. Spacer
(Urethane) to surface "A" as shown in figure.
NOTE:
Be sure to refer to maker's instruction for proper han-
dling and drying time.
Do not touch primer coated surface.
10) Apply adhesive as shown left.
NOTE:
Start from bottom side of glass.
Height of applied adhesive should exceed that of mold-
ing.
Adhesive should be applied evenly especially in height.
Be careful not to damage primer.
Press glass against body quickly after adhesive is ap-
plied.
Use of rubber sucker grips is helpful to hold and carry
glass after adhesive is applied.

Dimension "f" : Approximately 2 mm (0.08 in.)
1. Adhesive

3. Molding
4. Spacer
"c": Approximately 16 mm (0.60 in.)
: Approximately 14 mm (0.55 in.)
: Approximately 7 mm (0.28 in.)
