3D-16 FRONT SUSPENSION
1. Outside oil seal
2. Snap ring
3. Outside bearing
4. Bearing outer race (and inner bearing)
5. Knuckle
6. Inside oil seal
REMOVE OIL SEALS, SNAP RING AND WHEEL BEARING
Once bearing outer race is removed, bearing set (outer race, bear-
ings and inner races) should be replaced with new one.
D Remove outside oil seal, snap ring, outside bearing and inside
oil seal in that order.
D After removing inside oil seal, remove bearing outer race/inner
bearing using special tools (B) and (C), and hydraulic press.

INSTALL OIL SEALS, SNAP RING AND WHEEL BEARING
1. Press
2. Knuckle
When replacing bearing, inner race or outer race, be sure to re-
place them with new ones as a set.
D Press-fit bearing outer race/inner bearing using special tools
(C), (D) and (E).

D After greasing (lithic grease) bearing outer race, bearings and
oil seal lips, install them.
