INSTALLATION
NOTE:
See NOTE at the beginning of this section.
1) Install antirattle spring, pad shims (plates), pads, and pad re-

3) Then torque caliper pin bolt.
4) Install cap to caliper pin bolt.
5) Install parking brake cable bracket to caliper.
6) Install parking brake cable clip and pin.
7) Turn manual adjustment gear clockwise with an Allen wrench

8) Torque rear wheel nuts to specification.
9) Upon completion of installation, perform brake test.

Do not forget to install pad retract spring.
Tightening Torque
(a) : 38 N·m (3.8 kg-m, 27.5 lb-ft)
Tightening Torque
(b) : 46 N·m (4.6 kg-m, 33.0 lb-ft)
NOTE:
Make sure that the direction of pin is in specified direction.
until the caliper's piston pushes lightly the pad to the disc. Then
turn manual adjustment gear 1/3 turn counterclockwise.
NOTE:
D Check that the brake does not drag after all installations
are done.
D Do not forget to plug manual adjustment gear hole.
Tightening Torque
(c) : 85 N·m (8.5 kg-m, 61.5 lb-ft)
