7B1-32 AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION

TROUBLE DIAGNOSIS TABLE

Perform troubleshooting referring to the following tables, according to "AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION BASIC
FLOW TABLE" when ECM and TCM have detected no malfunction DTC and no abnormality has been found in
visual inspection. This section has 3 tables, Table-1 (Electrical circuit diagnosis table), Table-2 (Valve mechanism
diagnosis table), Table-3 (Clutches, brake, etc. diagnosis table). If malfunction part is not found in Table-1, proceed
to Table-2 and then Table-3.

(4th"3rd, 2nd"1st) or its circuit faulty
D Mode selector switch and/or mode
indicator lights circuit faulty
D Throttle position sensor or its circuit
faulty
D ECM
D TCC solenoid valve or its circuit faulty
D Throttle position sensor or its circuit
faulty
D Engine coolant temperature sensor or its
circuit faulty
D Brake light switch circuit faulty
D ECM
D Throttle position sensor or its circuit
faulty
D Throttle pressure control solenoid or its
circuit faulty
D Shift solenoid No.1 or its circuit faulty
D Throttle pressure control solenoid or its
circuit faulty
D Throttle position sensor or its circuit
faulty
D Brake light switch or its circuit faulty
D Throttle pressure control solenoid or its
circuit faulty
Correction
Refer to throttle position sensor in Section
6E1, 6E3, 6-1 or 6-2.
Repair or replace.
Refer to "ECM AND ITS CIRCUIT CHECK"
in Section 6E1, 6E3, 6-1 or 6-2.
Refer to "ECT SENSOR" in Section 6E1,
6E2, 6E3 or 6E4.
