ENGINE SPEED SIGNAL

This signal is sent from the ECM.
Receiving this signal, suspension control module detects the en-
gine speed.

VEHICLE SPEED SENSOR

The vehicle speed sensor, located on the transmission, generates
a signal in proportion to the vehicle speed (Signal À). Receiving
this signal, the speedometer uses it for operation of its indicator
and also converts it into the ON/OFF signal by doubling the cycle
(Signal Á).
Receiving this signal, suspension control module detects the ve-
hicle speed.
MODE SELECTOR SWITCH
This switch is installed on the parking brake cover.
By using this switch, suspension damping force, AUTO or SPORT
can be selected.
In AUTO mode, suspension damping force is controlled by sus-
pension control module automatically. (soft, medium, hard)
In SPORT mode, suspension damping force is fixed at hard.
