7C1-8 CLUTCH (HYDRAULIC TYPE)
INSTALLATION
Reverse removal procedure for installation, and note the following
instruction.
NOTE:
D For air bleeding of master cylinder alone, it must be re-
moved from vehicle body.
(For procedures of removal and installation of master cylin-
der and air bleeding, refer to "CLUTCH MASTER CYL-
INDER" in this section.)
D Do not allow fluid to get on painted surface.
D Do not allow pipe and hose to contact hard against vehicle
body or other parts.
D Install each clamp securely.
D For installation angle of each hose, refer to the preceding
page.
D Install E-ring securely as shown.
Tightening Torque
(a): 16 N·m (1.6 kg-m, 11.5 Ib-ft)
1. E-ring
2. Hose
3. Pipe
D After installation, check clutch pedal free travel and bleed
air from system.
D Check fluid leakage.
D Add fluid close to MAX level of reservoir.
