7B1-76 AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION
1. A/T fluid pipe
2. New gasket
1. TCM
2. TCM coupler
5) Install A/T side cover.
6) Install radiator with cooling fan, fan shroud, A/T fluid cooler
7) Install A/T fluid cooling pipe, using under bolts to specified
1. Transmission side cover
8) Refill A/T fluid referring to "CHANGING FLUID" in this section.
9) Refill engine coolant referring to Section 6B.
10) Verify that there is no engine coolant leakage or A/T fluid leak-
TRANSMISSION CONTROL MODULE (TCM)
REMOVAL
1) Disconnect negative cable at battery.
2) Disconnect TCM couplers from TCM.
3) Remove TCM by removing its bolts.
INSTALLATION
1) Install TCM to its bracket.
2) Connect TCM couplers to TCM.
3) Connect negative cable to battery.
NOTE:
Don't reuse bolts (A).
hoses and pipe.
torque.
Tightening Torque
(a): 27 N·m (2.7 kg-m, 19.5 lb-ft)
(b): 25 N·m (2.5 kg-m, 18.0 lb-ft)
(c): 18 N·m (1.8 kg-m, 13.0 lb-ft)
NOTE:
Make sure to use new A/T fluid pipe union bolt gaskets to
prevent fluid from leaking.
