TIGHTENING TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS
Most universal joints require no maintenance. They are lubricated for life and can not be lubricated on the vehicle.
If a universal joint becomes noisy or worn, it must be replace.
The propeller shaft is a balanced unit. Handle it carefully so that balance can be maintained.
A rotary blade coupling (RBC) is used for the coupling system which distributes an optimum driving force to the
front and rear wheels according to the driving conditions. It is located at the center of the propeller shaft. Also,
a 2WD/4WD switching shaft is installed to the transfer. (Refer to SECTION 7A2.)
