DETECTING CONDITION
(DTC will set when detecting:)
"D" and another range signals are inputted
simultaneously.
No signal is inputted while running at higher
than specified vehicle speed.
Voltage at sensor terminal of TCM is high.
(sensor circuit open)
Voltage at sensor terminal of TCM is low.
(sensor circuit shorted to ground)
No sensor signal is inputted while output
speed sensor (A/T VSS) signal is inputted.
No sensor signal is inputted while input
shaft speed sensor (forward clutch cylinder
revolution sensor) signal is inputted.
No engine speed signal is inputted while
engine running. (engine coolant temp. sig-
nal is inputted properly)
TCC is not locked up while TCC solenoid
ON is commanded.
TCC is locked up while TCC solenoid OFF
is commanded.
Voltage at solenoid terminal of TCM is high
while solenoid OFF is commanded. (sole-
noid circuit open)
Voltage at solenoid terminal of TCM is low
while solenoid ON is commanded. (sole-
noid circuit shorted to ground)
No electric current flows. (circuit open)
Excessive electric current flows. (circuit
short)
Actual gear position (ratio) does not agree
with gear position (2nd or 3rd) commanded
from TCM to A/T.
Voltage at solenoid terminal of TCM is high
while solenoid OFF is commanded. (sole-
noid circuit open)
(
)
Voltage at solenoid terminal of TCM is low
while solenoid ON is commanded. (sole-
noid circuit shorted to ground)
Actual gear position (ratio) does not agree
with gear position (3rd or 4th) commanded
from TCM to A/T.
