Name
AAL2 This bit indicate that this specific VC is an AAL2 channel. All AAL2 initialization
must be performed according to
setting this bit.
IMASK Interrupt mask. Contains the interrupt mask for both the receive and transmit
sides of this channel number. The interrupt mask allows the user to enable or
disable interrupt generation. If a bit in IMASK is cleared, interrupt queue entries
are not generated for the corresponding event, and the GINT global interrupt
counter is not advanced. See
FT Filter type. Selects the filter type used for this channel. FT is part of the
management cell filtering mechanism; see
(MCF)," for the programming of this field.
NIM Non-intrusive monitoring. (Can be set for AAL0 channels only.) If set, NIM
enables non-intrusive monitoring and/or non-intrusive PM of all types of OAM
cells. All OAM cells are buffered along with data cells using the RxBD table. In
addition, a copy of all OAM cells are placed in the raw cell queue (channel n) to
be monitored by the host, for that active PHY.
NIM is part of the management cell filtering mechanism; see
"Management Cell Filter (MCF),"
RPMT Receive performance monitoring table number. The address of the table in the
dual-port RAM is PMPTR+(32xRPMT). See
Monitoring Tables."
Note that for OAM F4, more than one RCT[RPMT] can point to the same PM
table.
