SCCs.
¥ Chapter 18, ÒCommunications Processor Module and CPM Timers,Ó describes how
the CPM issues special commands to the Ethernet channel. The dual-port RAM
loads Ethernet parameters and initializes BDs for the Ethernet channel to use.
¥ Chapter 20, ÒSDMA Channels and IDMA Emulation,Ó discusses how SDMA
channels are used to transfer data between the Ethernet channel and system memory.
¥ Section 21.3, ÒNMSI ConÞguration,Ó explains how clocks are routed to SCCs
through the bank of clocks.
