router pim-sparse
Use the router pim-sparse command to globally enable protocol-independent multicast (PIM) on the unit
and to enter the PIM Sparse Configuration mode. Refer to the section Router (PIM Sparse) Configuration
Command Set on page 1375 for more information on the subcommands for PIM Sparse Configuration
mode.
Syntax Description
No subcommands.

Usage Examples
The following example uses the router pim-sparse command to enter the PIM Sparse Configuration
mode:
