SROS Command Line Interface Reference Guide
snmp-server inform
Use the snmp-server inform retries command to set the number of retry attempts for a response and set
the amount of time to wait for a response before allowing a new request. Use the no form of this command
to return to the default setting. Variations of this command include the following:
snmp-server inform retries <number>
snmp-server inform timeout <value>
Syntax Description
retries <number>
timeout <value>
Default Values
By default, the retry count is set to 3 and the timeout is set to 5 seconds.
Usage Examples
The following example sets the retry count to 10:
ProCurve(config)#snmp-server inform retries 10

Specifies number of retries for a response. The range is from 1 to 100.
Specifies time (in seconds) to wait for a response. The range is from 1 to
1000 seconds.
