SROS Command Line Interface Reference Guide
arp <ip address> <mac address> arpa
Use this command to enter static entries into the address resolution protocol (ARP) table.
Syntax Description
arpa
<ip address>
<mac address>
Default Values
The default for this command is arpa.
Usage Examples
The following example enables standard ARP for the VLAN interface:
ProCurve(config)#interface vlan 1
ProCurve(config-interface-vlan 1)#arp 192.168.22.253 00:12:79:00:00:01 arpa
5991-2114
Sets the standard address resolution protocol for this interface.
Specifies the IP address.
Specifies the MAC address.
