traceroute <address> source <address>
Use the traceroute command to display the IP routes a packet takes to reach the specified destination.
Syntax Description
<address>
source <address>
Default Values
No default value necessary for this command.
Usage Examples
The following is a sample traceroute output:
ProCurve>enable
ProCurve#traceroute 192.168.0.1
Type CTRL+C to abort.
Tracing route to 192.168.0.1 over a maximum of 30 hops
1 22ms 20ms 20ms
2 23ms 20ms 20ms

Optional. Specifies the IP address of the remote system to trace the routes to.
Optional. Specifies the IP address of the interface to use as the source of the trace.
