databits [7 | 8]

he databits command to set the number of databits per character for a terminal session. This value must
match the configuration of your VT100 terminal or terminal emulator software. The default is 8 databits
per character. Use the no form of this command to return to the default value.

Default Values
By default, console terminal sessions use 8 data bits.
Usage Examples
The following example configures 7 databits per character for the console terminal session:
ProCurve(config)#line console 0
ProCurve(config-con 0)#databits 7

Specifies 7 data bits per character.
