Demand Interface Configuration Command Set
lldp send-and-receive
Use the lldp send-and-receive command to configure this interface to transmit and receive LLDP packets.
Syntax Description
No subcommands.
Default Values
Be default, all interfaces are configured to transmit and receive LLDP packets of all types.
Functional Notes
Individual LLDP information can be enabled or disabled using the various forms of the lldp send
command. For example, use the lldp send-and-receive command to enable transmit and receive of all
LLDP information. Then use the no lldp send port-description command to prevent LLDP from
transmitting port description information.
Usage Examples
The following example configures the demand interface (demand 1) to transmit and receive LLDP packets
containing all information types:
ProCurve(config)#interface demand 1
ProCurve(config-demand 1)#lldp send-and-receive
