debug atm packet
Use the debug atm packet command to activate debug messages associated with packets on ATM ports
and virtual circuits. Debug messages are displayed (real-time) to the terminal (or Telnet) screen. Use the
no form of this command to disable the debug messages. Variations of this command include the
following:
debug atm packet
debug atm packet interface atm <port id>
debug atm packet interface atm <port id> vcd <vcd number>
debug atm packet vc <VPI/VCI>
Note
Turning on a large amount of debug information can adversely affect the performance of
your unit.
Syntax Description
interface atm <port id>
vc <VPI/VCI>
vcd <vcd number>
Default Values
By default, all debug messages in the SROS are disabled.
Usage Examples
The following example activates debug ATM packet debug messages on ATM port 1:
ProCurve>enable
ProCurve#debug atm packet interface atm 1
5991-2114
Shows packets on a specific ATM port and on all virtual circuits.
Shows packets on a specific virtual circuit identified by the virtual path
identifier and virtual channel identifier (VPI/VCI).
Shows packets on specific virtual circuit descriptors (VCD).
