SROS Command Line Interface Reference Guide

spanning-tree pathcost method [short | long]

Use the spanning-tree pathcost command to select a short or long pathcost method used by the

spanning-tree protocol.

Syntax Description

Default Values

By default, this is set to short.

Usage Examples

The following example designates the spanning-tree protocol to use a long pathcost method:

ProCurve(config)#spanning-tree pathcost method long

Selects a short pathcost method.

Selects a long pathcost method.
