Command Reference Guide
rtp packet-delay
Use the rtp packet-delay command to configure the maximum Realtime Transport Protocol (RTP) packet
delays. This command is used to set the allowable limits of latency on the network. Use the no form of this
command to return to the default value. Variations of this command include:
rtp packet-delay fax <value>
rtp packet-delay maximum <value>
rtp packet-delay nominal <value>

fax <value>
maximum <value>
nominal <value>
Default Values
By default, the RTP packet delays are fax 300, maximum 100, and nominal 50.

Usage Examples
The following example configures the RTP fax delay time for loopback 5555 to 200 milliseconds:
(config)#voice loopback 5555
(config-LB-5555)#rtp packet-delay fax 200
60000CRG0-35E
Sets the fax delay time value in milliseconds. Range is 0 to
500 milliseconds.
Sets the maximum delay time value in increments of 10 milliseconds.
Range is 40 to 320 milliseconds.
Sets the nominal delay time value in increments of 10 milliseconds. Range is
10 to 240 milliseconds.
Command was introduced.
Command was included in the Voice Loopback Account Configuration
command set.
