11.2 Linear motor software operation

Connect the servo drive first and activate ASDA-Soft. When the New Device window pops up,
select "Linear" for Motor Type. If you do not select the correct corresponding motor, a unit error
occurs when setting the parameters.
Note: the units of rotary motor and linear motor are different in some parameter settings. Refer to Chapter
8 for more information.
