Condition: sudden jumps occur to the motor position feedback.
Cause:
Encoder feedback is abnormal or the encoder is damaged.

Encoder feedback is interfered.

Check if the feedback signal is abnormal. With the software scope, select

Feedback position [PUU] as the channel type and sampling at 16 kHz or
20 kHz, then operate the motor manually to monitor whether the feedback
value has discontinuous sudden jumps.
Check if the feedback signal is interfered causing sudden jumps to the motor

If the source of the main encoder is CN2, check if the communication error

rate is increased due to interference. For example, check the communication
error rate by setting P0.017 to -80d and monitor whether the value of P0.009
is not 0 and continuously increases.
Cycle power on the servo drive.
Condition: losing number of revolutions because of low battery voltage or loss of
the power.
Cause:
Voltage level of the battery is too low.

The battery is replaced when the main power of the servo drive is off.

The battery is not installed when the absolute function is enabled.
3.
Poor connection or disconnection of the battery power circuit.
4.
Check if the battery voltage is below 2.45V. Re-establish the absolute origin

Do not change or remove the battery when the ASDA-A3 servo drive's

Follow the instructions below:

(a) Install the battery.
(b) Check the connection between the battery power source and servo drive.
(c) Check the encoder wiring.
