Rotor and Vane

D Check sliding surfaces of rotor and vane for wear and damage.
D Check clearance between rotor and vane.
Clearance: Standard 0.01 mm (0.0004 in.)
Replace pump assembly if any defect is found in above checks.
1. Thickness gauge

Relief Valve (Flow Control Valve) and Its Spring

D Check fluid passage of relief valve and orifice of connector for
obstruction (clogged).
D Check sliding surface of relief valve for wear and damage.
D Check free length of relief valve spring.
Free length: Standard 22.0 mm (0.866 in.)
Replace if any defective is found.
1. Flow control spring
Limit 0.06 mm (0.0023 in.)
Limit 19.0 mm (0.748 in.)
